Who I Am

Hi, I’m Marica — yoga teacher, mum of three, and ex-marketing manager who once thought yoga was a hard pass.

My first class felt too slow and too quiet — my mind filled with to-do lists. But a few years (and three kids) later, I gave it another go… and something clicked.

Since then, I’ve trained in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and most recently Menopause Yoga with Petra Coveney. That last one was a turning point — connecting movement, breath, and evidence-based support for women navigating this powerful life phase. It brought a whole new layer to my teaching, and to myself.

What Yoga Means to Me

Yoga, to me, is union: of body, breath and mind.
It’s not about perfect poses or touching your toes. It’s a full-spectrum toolkit — one that helps us feel stronger, softer, more grounded, and more ourselves.

Through movement, we build strength and flexibility.
Through breath, we find calm and clarity.
Through stillness, we listen — to our thoughts, our emotions, our changing bodies

Yoga meets you exactly where you are. And every class ends in stillness, with time to absorb the practice — because the pause is just as important as the pose.

My Style

I teach like I live: honestly, warmly, and with room for laughter.
You won’t find me preaching philosophy or chasing perfection. What you will find is music, movement, encouragement and lots of options — because every body is different, and this is YOUR practice!

Whether you’re in menopause, overwhelmed by life, or just looking for a little stretch and sanity, my goal is always the same: to give you an hour of breath, movement and lightness.

And that post-savasana sigh? Still my favourite moment.
